Saturday 4/17/21

Had a nice sort of off day. Slept in and had a great brunch of amazing chicken and waffles at RHP. It was recommended by Bruce. I am going back tomorrow morning for shrimp and grits.

Took a drive around Chicago. The field museum was a bust, there was no parking and if there was parking it was $30. I did have an authentic Chicago hot dog. I remember Paul Hilts describing them to me. It was really good.

Went to Graceland Cemetery in search of Harry’s Open Grave. I looked for the Inez statue but had no luck. Got a few decent cemetery shots.

Started to make my travel lists for next week. As I think of stuff I add it to the list. Ordered the second SSD and the second SL60 from Adorama, the 8T drive from OWC and a small rig mafer Stud clamp from Amazon.

I am having issues getting iphone footage from the iphone to the Macbook Pro because of the big sur update. If I can’t solve this I am going to have to bring my mac mini on the road.

Going to drive into Skokie tomorrow and try to speak to some people as well as shoot some B-roll. Gonna use the ProMist  and see how that works.

Giving more thoughts to eating while on the road. It might be wise to pick up stuff when I get to a city (sandwich stuff, salad Stuff) so I have options right away. I should go through the vegetarian book and look for things I might like to eat. Also Rotisserie chickens are super cheap and they have them in almost every market. I can get two lunches at of one chicken.
