Reel Brooklyn Films Manifesto

Independent. Fearless. Human.

We make documentaries about systems that were meant to protect us — and the people left behind when those systems fail. From the streets of Rescue! Brooklyn, exposing animal cruelty and the quiet heroes who confront it, to the storm-torn coasts of Rising Tides, to the shelter beds of Outcast Nation, and the hospital corridors of Denied!, our films bear witness to what happens when compassion and accountability collapse.

Reel Brooklyn Films was founded on a simple belief: truth still matters. Whether confronting environmental negligence, political hypocrisy, or religious intolerance in Trumpism and the American Jewish Community, we tell stories about the fractures that define modern America — and the individuals who refuse to disappear inside them.

Every project begins with a question: Who got left behind?

Every frame is an act of resistance.

Every film is a reminder that silence helps the powerful, not the truth.

We don’t chase trends. We chase impact — one story, one camera, one community at a time.

We would also like to announce and welcome Caitlin Krenn to Reel Brooklyn Films as our Newest Producer.
